WD sends a 500GB Blue Series drive with a 7mm thickness form-factor. There’s really nothing much to be said, but slimmer 2.5mm drives are 7mm thick.

Some 7mm thick drives were reviewed in the past, and they have many good usefulness such installing them on an Ultrabook or pretty decent alternate to install in a cramped desktop units.

As usual, performance is what will be observed here.
