AMD silently and conveniently lists more AMD Radeon 4xx series cards to promote Total Warhammer redeem offer
It’s expected that the read team will be releasing three Polaris models. But in AMD Reward Total Warhammer’s promo, there are more Radeon 4xx series graphic cards listed. One of them is the RX 490. AMD also accidentally listed Bristol Ridge APUs. Some of the possible flagship ones in the list are the AMD A12-9800 and the A12-9800E. This will be AMD’s 7th generation APU.
As far as the list is concerned, the following 4xx series are listed:
- Radeon RX 470
- Radeon R7 455
- Radeon R5 420
- Radeon RX 460
- Radeon R7 450
- Radeon R7 440
- Radeon RX 490
- Radeon R7 435
- Radeon R5 435
- Radeon RX 480
- Radeon R7 430
- Radeon R5 430
Judging by the promo’s time limit, we can safely say that these models should be out before December 31, 2016. Apart from the model numbers, we do not know what kind of specs they will have. But it will be interesting to see how the Radeon RX 490 performs. Unfortunately, their choice of a PR agency isn’t too kind enough to reply back, pick up the call or call back after peeking interest to review their newer cards. They did call me a couple of weeks ago to review the Radeon Fury.
Keep in mind that the company’s roadmap listed Vega launch for 2016-end launch. Meanwhile, Nvidia seems to be preparing for the GTX 1060 launch. An HK dealer already has a unit in their hand. So far, they’ve made plans for 12 models. Would some of them be based on VEGA, particularly the RX 490? Time will tell.
