AMD to showcase next-gen APU ‘Kaveri’ on November 11, all plans to launch them at CES 2014

AMD will be showing their next generation APU (accelerated processing units), codenamed ‘Kaveri’ on November 11 2013 during APU ’13 event. The company is also rumoured to make announcements with its HSA (Heterogeneous system architecture) APU 2013 will be hosted in San Jose, USA, but there will also be a live-streaming session.

The chipmaker will also host AMD developer summit a the same time.

After series of delay and confusion about the launch, it was pointed out by AMD that it would never launch it before Christmas, and that it would be available shortly after its launch at CES 2014.

It was also being revealed that OEMs have received these samples for testing before AMD starts mass productions during late October.
