Asus released ROG Xonar Phoebus 7.1 Solo Sound Card

Asus announced the release of Xonar Phoebus Solo 7.1 Channel PCIe gaming sound card under their ‘Republic of Gamers’ brand where the company said that it offers precise positional audio and ‘life-like’ immersion for gamers.

Specs wise, it includes 118 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 600 ohm TPA6120A2 headphone amplifier, PCM1796 digital-to-analog converter, Dolby HT V4 (just like  Xonar U7) and DTS II UltraPCII surround sound.  Also the card protected by an EMI shield and their ‘Hyper Grounding’ technology.

The company has also updated their Phoebus drivers for existing ROG Xonar Phoebus users as well, which comes with 4 different audio preset and optimized audio profiles and DTS UltraPCII Suite.The profiles for FPS, RTS, Role Playing and Racing Simulation are specifically tuned for the games they’re playing.
