Coolermaster did a pretty good job on the illustration of the packaging. The keyboard is modeled MB24 and the mouse is modeled MS2K. I am not sure if they are available individually or only in a combo.

The front packaging of the combo comes with the pictures of the keyboard and mouse. I hate to nitpicks on stuff that may or may not matter depending on who is reading it, but if I was in CM’s place, for the packaging I would have used the photograph WITH the LED on the keyboard switched on! Just like on the mouse!

The specifications of both the mouse and the keyboard is mentioned on the rear packaging. The mouse (MS2K) is an optical mouse with 1000-1600-2000 dpi modes, large precision mouse wheel and solid rubber side pads on the mouse. The keyboard (MB24) is a keyboard that uses rubber dome. But it does have laser etched keycaps with grip coat. Along with the basic multimedia keys, there’s an backlit option and all you need to do to turn it on is hit the scroll button.

All I ask from CM now is to mention the warranty period somewhere on the box!!

The keyboard is wrapped in plastic, and the mouse is nicely protected. Good impression so far!!!

Along with the keyboard and the mouse, there’s a user guide and a piece of paper which points out in more than one language how to turn on the keyboard’s LED backlit. The user guide points out that the mouse and the keyboard come with 2 years warranty period.

  1. for $30 it is pretty good. i think if cm can provide atleast a guaranteed 3KRO then it should be pretty awesome. i think that bios backlit is one of those weird issues, but its interesting to see it worked with a ps/2 port. maybe the roll over works with ps/2 port as well?
