Remember, this motherboard provides access to a total of 8x USB 3.0 ports- including two of the USB 3.0 headers. There’s also 7 SATA III and an eSATA. Many would prefer SATA over eSATA. But it should keep most of the users happy. The layout and the colour combination is good. You get all the connectivity options that the A88X chipset provides- VGA, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.  If you REALLY want me to be grumpy, I might say not having an M.2 port is a downer, but then again it would end up hogging bandwidth from some PCIe slot. You’re better off grabbing a PCIe card with M.2 port.

As a part of its ‘Ultra Durable 5’ feature, power delivery uses IR VRM and MOSFETs. This and two USB 3.0 headers is probably the reason why Gigabyte provider older sound controller and Realtek Ethernet. Fair enough, considering the cost of the motherboard. The motherboard carries a three-year warranty period.
