Gigabyte is working hard to overhaul their interface for their UEFI on Haswell motherboards that will be launch after a month on their Facebook page.
The layout shows that its designed to show real time stats about the system on the same screen, therefore removing the option of navigating through different menus and sub-menus. This is the best move, considering you get to see all the stats required on the same screen around the outer edges, including CPU voltage, CPU fan speed and CPU Temperature readout.
And as it applies by default, performance is where you will be spending your time in regards to overclocking.
Most likely the UEFI could be customized according to user’s requirements, as the screenshot shows ‘Setup User Options’ where you can create your own label and add/remove Sub-Menus and Options.
For those who don’t require this, it seems that the UEFI offer ‘Classic Mode’ as shown on the bottom right corner of the UEFI screenshot.
