Overall, the Lenovo Y520 shows better performance than the Y700 which uses the earlier generation CPU and GPU.

Naturally, the GTX 1060 will perform better than the GTX 1050 Ti, but since Lenovo Y520’s base/boost clock speed is higher than the reference specs, I can’t help but see it if actually helps. The graphics benchmarks are compared with GTX 1060, but you can check out the earlier GTX 1050 Ti and RX 580 reviews here:
