Nvelo Dataplex V1.2 supports secondary HDD caching

I have received information that Nvelo released its 1.2 firmware update which enables HDD caching. Nvelo Dataplex firmware that is used in SSD Cache drives via Corsair, OCZ, Mushkin and few others more now give support to non-boot HDDs.

Edge Memory
Mushkin
OCZ

At the time of writing, Nvelo is still working to provide full support forWindows 8 operating system. So far, the firmware update addresses the secondary HDD caching requirement. With the Windows 8 operating system support, it would be interesting to see how Sandisk’s SSD Cache counterpart will do compared to SSD Cache with Dataplex now. At this time,
