GeForce 365.19 driver ‘Game Ready’ for DOOM and more

Nvidia released its new GeForce 365.19 WHQL driver which is optimized for DOOM, Homefront: The Revolution and Master of Orion. Nvidia assures that its latest driver (like any previous updates) will give its GPU users the best possible frame rates and frametimes whether it’s a single-player campaign or online.

Apart from ‘game ready’ optimizations, the following SLI and 3D vision profiles are added:

Application SLI Profiles

Added or updated the following SLI profile:

  •  Battleborn – AFR SLI profile added
  •  Battlefleet Gothic Armada – SLI Single set
  • Dead Island – redux version EXE added to original profile
  • Dead Island: Riptide – redux version EXE added to original profile
  • Master of Orion – AFR SLI profile added
  • Obscuritas – AFR SLI profile added
  • The Moonlight Blade – SLI Single set
  • The Solus Project – SLI Single set
  • World of Warships – SLI disabled pending fix of SLI-related issues by the game
    developers

3D Vision Profiles

Added or updated the following 3DV profiles:

  •  Homefront: The Revolution – Not recommended

3D Compatibility Mode Profiles

No compatibility mode profiles were added with this version.

Software Modules

  •  NView – version 147.00
  •  Vulkan RT Installer – version 1.0.11.1
  •  HD Audio Driver – version 1.3.34.4
  •  NVIDIA PhysX System Software – version 9.15.0428
  •  GeForce Experience – version 2.11.3.5
  •  CUDA – version 8.0

Nvidia made several improvements over its previous driver. The notable ones are the stuttering issues after 20-30 minutes when playing Tom Clancy’s The Division in an SLI setup and when its VulkanRT-installer is triggering false positives on virus scanners. The funny one-liner  here is the one under previous Windows OS updates, where 3DMark 11 displays ‘garbage’ (litter-really?)

It also adds Microsoft Hybrid support with upcoming Apollo Lake and Kaby Lake CPUs. The rest of the fixes are as follows:
