Nvidia’s General Manager for GeForce GTX Scott Herkelman was showing off GeForce GTX 780 to the public in Shanghai, China during their keynote. Nothing was being told about the graphic card, much like how AMD did it with Radeon HD 7990 in the past.
So far, the specifications are speculated that it will be using Nvidia’s GK11-330 core with 2304 CUDA cores running with the base clock of 863MHz and 3GB GDDR5 memory with 384-bit interface, and that the card comes with the TDP of 250W and requires to take power from 6+8 pin PCIe connector with 2x DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.
So far, Fudzilla knows for sure that the card is scheduled to launch on 23rd of May between €500 and €600, unless Nvidia decides to change the prices at the last moment. But seeing that Nvidia is showing off this card pretty much makes one to believe that the launch date of this card to be most likely true.
