Despite Sony and Microsoft having exclusive titles and what not for their new current gen gaming consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with enjoying massive worldwide sales from day 1, it barely covered half of the PC hardware market alone.

Though it may seem to some people that console hardware market overshadows the PC Master Race, its the opposite. An analyst from Jon Pedie Research recently announced that the current situation of the PC Gaming hardware is that its worth about $21.5 Billion. He also added that PCs and its upgrades & peripherals will continue to remain headstrong despite the overall decline in the overall PC market. The analyst also continued by saying that the overall value of the gaming market will hit $23.2 billion by 2017.

Jon Peddie, the president of JPR said,”Nvidia, Intel and AMD have enthusiast CPU and GPUs that are so powerful that, when combined with SSDs and fast memory, they absolutely trounce the computing power and gaming capabilities of the newest console generation”.

With reference to 4K gaming he added,”Being able to drive 3840×2160 (4K) is already a reality for the highest end configurations and the mass market is now able to push 2560×1440. PC gamers with good displays are able to enjoy millions and millions of pixels more than console gamers get on HDTVs. This translates into being able to see more and an overall better gaming experience.”

Even in India, many PC Hardware components are making an impact. Gigabyte’s Colin Brix confirmed that Gigabyte VGA will be introduced in India soon, along with a dedicated management like its international counterparts. What’s even more interesting is that at the same time MSI is also getting its roots strong in India and also securing a good RMA service by ditching Digicare and signing up with Aforeserve. Though its too early to say, a friend pointed out Nvidia’s Channel Partner list, where Along with Zotac, MSI, Galaxy, Palit, Gainward, Asus, Gigabyte and PNY’s listing, EVGA is also listed.
