AMD’s Desktop Richland APU launch has a chance of happening much sooner than expected, but now you can also know the specifications and models of the upcoming A-series.
AMD will be releasing 5 Richland desktop APUs, and they will be using FM2 socket, with A10 6800K being the flagship model armed with 4 cores clocked at 4.4GHz and AMD Radeon HD 8670D graphics chip. with the price somewhere at $142. According to the table, the Richland’s flagship model is aimed to go against Intel’s i5-3470 with the price tag of $195.
The base model is A6-6400K and use HD 8470D graphics chip, but with 2 cores clocked at 4.1GHz, with a price tag of $69 and aimed against Intel’s i3 3220 currently priced at $125.
The other Richland models are A8 6500, A8 6600K and A10 6700, all with A8 series using HD 8570D and A10 using HD 8670D, uses a quad core with 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 GHz clock speed with the price tag of $91, $112 and $122 respectively.
It is said that AMD would be releasing these APUs on June 4, 2013.
