Samsung starts making DDR4 memory modules, using their own 20nm fabrication process at 4Gb per chip. DDR allows transfer data of up to 333MB/s, which according to the company gives 25% boost over the current DDR3 offering. The memory module also consumes 30% lesser power, which will be appreciated for Datacenters. Each amounts to 128 of them to have 32GB Module.
The company will also have 16GB memory module option as well.
But its another story to get motherboards with DIMMs to accommodate DDR4 memory kits in order to be used at the same time.
