New Screenshots of ‘Wolfestein: The New Order’ released, but game launch delayed

It was revealed during the interview with Bethesda’s VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines that the launch of the highly anticipated game ‘Wolfestein: The New Order’ is delayed citing  challenges in developing the for the current and next generation gaming consoles at the same time. He also added that they trying to make the game not just to be a shooter, but with ‘story elements, narrative and stealth sections’.

Hines added,”MachineGames has been working on this game for a while. You don’t want to waste all that time and effort for the sake of a couple of months, if a couple of months could make all of the difference in the world. This needs to be the best Wolfenstein game ever made, and you can’t shortcut that. It can’t have the same historical impact of Wolfenstein 3D, but it can be a better game.”
The game is will be released for PC, followed by current gen and next gen consoles: PS3, X-Box 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One.

In the meantime, Bethesda released few screenshots of the game of the popular franchise. The game will be released by next year.
