The drive comes with a 3 year warranty period, viz. pretty standard for a “non pro” SSDs.

I have this Seagate 600 240GB SSD drive for review, and this should be interesting to see how it stands when it comes to performance, especially coming from a company that makes mechanical and hybrid storage drives for a living. I’ve received this drive in an OEM pack, just like any other 2.5/3.5” mechanical drive. No carton box, no SSD mounting plate for 3.5” bay. Summary : As its first consumer class SSD, Seagate did a pretty good job. One should note however that performance is mediocre. For the price that you're paying for this drive, you could get similar/bit better drives. Most likely this drive will end up as one of the choices by OEMs, which makes sense.
