Square Enix made an announcement that they will be releasing a Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition for the current-generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles along with the PC.
This one will contain all the 24 DLCs, along with the graphics update. Dan Sochan said via a press release,”We listened to the fans. We tuned gameplay, we added to the ambience of Hong Kong, increased audio fidelity and pushed the visuals further than we could on the previous generation of consoles.”
It looks like its going to be a never-ending trend of seeing games updated for current-gen consoles, but a definitive edition for PC raises curiosity on how many bumps the graphics prowess would be, assuming there will be a noticeable and appreciable difference. It should be noted that PC version has a high-res texture pack already. So how updated is the definitive edition for PCs?
The updated game will come out in October.
