Successor to AMD Kaveri APU ‘Carizo’ to arrive in 2015

AMD’s next generation ‘Kaveri’ APU which uses x86 Steamroller CPU and HUMA memory architecture and the GCN architecture is delayed until 1H 2014, but AMD has already been working on its successor for some time.

The APU that will succeed Kaveri, codenamed ‘Carizo’, is said to be arriving somewhere during 2015, and this architecture should be having significant improvements as it may use the ‘Excavator’ CPU core and most likely an improved GCN and memory architecture.
