ASIC Quality and Overclocking

The Zotac GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition does not show the core’s ASIC quality.

Reference Factory OC Manual OC
Base 1290 1392 1459
Boost 1392 1506 1573

The overclocking I got out of this card is just 1 MHz bump over the G1 Gaming GTX 1050 Ti.

Fan Speed and Temperature Observation

What I do like about this card is that its fan noise is less even at 80% manual fan speed. On load with overclocks, it stays at 52 degrees celcius. Even with Max GPU volt set at 70%, its manual overclock is solid.

The fan does not have temperature/load controls where it switches itself off accordingly. In Zotac’s case, ‘freezetech’. Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 1050 Ti does have this feature:

While Zotac GTX 1050 Ti OC edition is staying with 45% fan speed with idle temps of 31 degrees celsius, G1 gaming is 43 degrees celsius with no fans.
